The City of Azusa has started a Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings. This great event will be located on the corner of Azusa Ave. and Foothill Blvd. between 9:00am and 1:00pm. The first Saturday was April 2nd and it will run through the summer until September 24th, 2011.
This Farmers’ Market is a great way for Azusa to draw not only their own residents, out to the downtown area, but to also attract people from other cities to visit. Make sure you bring cash as most of the vendors do not accept credit or debit cards.
All of the produce available is “Certified” by the State of California and most is vine or tree ripened. Besides the fruits and vegetables to buy at lower prices, there are activities and other vendors selling prepared food and specialty items like crafts and collectibles.
