Azusa History and Schools
Located in Los Angeles County, Azusa, was founded in 1887 and incorporated as a city in 1898. Its approximate population is around 45,000. Azusa is considered one of the foothill communities since it is at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. Azusa Pacific University (APU) is a well known private University that is located here as well as nine public elementary / middle schools, two public high schools and one private school.

Rosedale Community in Azusa
Rosedale is a new community being built in northern Azusa that will include 1,250 homes, both single family and townhomes. The main builders are LA Urban Homes and William Lyon Homes. The Community was originally started in 2005 but put on hold until the housing market strengthened. Rosedale is now in full swing and families are moving in!
